Microchip implanters

There are around 200 microchip implanters across South Australia entering microchip data into animal records on Dogs and Cats Online.

The following videos and user guides demonstrate how easy it is for microchip implanters, vets and vet practices to record information in Dogs and Cats Online.

Microchip implanters must provide the Dog and Cat Management Board with details of any microchip procedure they've performed within five days. This is easy with Dogs and Cats Online. Alternatively, they can complete and submit a procedure form to their council or provide a certificate with the mandatory information (marked on the procedure form) to the owner.

RSPCA New South Wales and TAFE NSW offer comprehensive dog and cat microchip implanting courses via online delivery.
